Banana Creative is a fine arts coaching company established in 2016 with a core vision of developing its students into independent creative bodies. Both born into artistic families, the founding directors Kailey and Pierre grew up with constant exposure to the arts, often travelling with their families around Asia and Europe to museums, exhibitions, and artistic events.
Having now graduated from the world's leading art schools, the two have decided that they will take on the mission together to share and enable talented students around them to also experience, understand, and create art to their greatest potential.
Kailey Law

MA Fine Arts, Central Saint Martins, UK
Kailey graduated with MA Fine Arts (Sculpture and Installation Arts) at Central Saint Martins (QS 2015–2026 Global University Ranking No.2 — Art and Design). A member of the Golden Key International Honour Society and an international champion in Chinese calligraphy from a young age, her distinct competency in both Chinese and Western Arts gives her unparalleled insights when working with cross-cultural subjects. She has led recent roles as art consultant for multiple clients in China, whether in art curation, art and accessories sourcing, and interior design.
Pierre Shum
Co-Founder
MA Architecture, Royal College of Art, UK
Pierre was born in Hong Kong and moved to the UK at the age of 10. Having graduated with MA Architecture at Royal College of Art (QS 2015–2026 Global University Ranking No.1 — Art and Design), he recently founded Body Calligraphy - a XR multi-dimensional Chinese calligraphy as part of a PhD degree at City University of Hong Kong completed in 2026 with the prestigious Hong Kong PhD fellowship scheme. This research is now being commercialized with support from the Hong Kong Science and Technology Park. Pierre has a wide range of experience working in the UK and China, ranging from urban planning, architecture, interior design, graphic and product design. A multi-disciplinary approach underlies the principle of being inspired from any object of any scale.
